The employee filling the Project Manager position will be a self-starting, accountable employee operating primarily in the Westview Productions office environment. Employee shall be an organized, even tempered person with strong communication skills, and a readiness to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects •Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget •Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility •Ensure resource availability and allocation •Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress •Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques •Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques •Report and escalate to management as needed •Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders •Perform risk management to minimize project risks •Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors •Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation •Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments •Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs •Coordinate and direct subcontractors •Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory •Meet contractual conditions of performance •Review the work progress on daily basis •Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status •Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones •Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses •Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Theater, Museum, or Performing Arts experience •Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills •Ability to plan and see the “big picture” •Competent in conflict and crisis management •Leadership and human resources management skills •Excellent time management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills •Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office •Ability to read and understand construction drawings
