iWeiss is a nationwide leader in manufacturing and installation of theatrical systems. We are seeking an induvial who is ready to work in the expansion and further development of our engineering department for systems that are geared toward live theatres, displays, themed environments, theme parks, cruise ships and other entertainment venues alike.
Qualified individuals should be responsible, have a strong attention to detail, great problem solving abilities, and exceptional visualization skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office are a must. Adobe skills are preferred but not a requirement.
This position is responsible for the following:
Creation of production drawings from initial sketches and formal submittals to As Built packages
Design of rigging elements and system components
Driving solution-based conversations for projects and iWeiss products
Collaboration with Technical CAD staff to manage CAD library and standard practices
Travel for Project Surveys
Management of department’s schedule of deliverables
Interface w/ various departments (project managers, fabrication, field staff, engineers, and clients)
High school diploma or equivalent. Degree or certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with AutoCAD 2017 or Greater
Experience in Inventor
Ability to maintain schedules
Knowledge of theatrical rigging systems
Knowledge of mechanical automation system
Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills
